Don Quixote
I’m thinking about writing a play about Quijana’s preparations before his journey. Cervantes would be a character. I think it could work. I would have to try not to rely to heavily on works that are similar, such as Lars and the Real Girl, since that is the directions I would take it in.
My other idea is a Before Sunrise type of story. A guy waits at the stage exit for a girl he saw in a play. Takes place in one night.
Both of these ideas are borrowed and not very original. Does that even matter?
